New Delhi, 30thMarch 2022: Sterlite Power, a main energy transmission developer and options provider, acquired the Letter of Intent (LoI) from Power Finance Corporation Consulting Limited to build, own, function and hold an acritical transmission venture in Jammu & amp; Kashmir (J&K) for a length of 35years. The mission has been awarded to Sterlite Power via Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process (TBCB).




The mission is primarily based in Jammu & Kashmir and comprisea 400/132kV GIS substation at Kishtwar and four hundred KV LILO (Line in Line out) of about 10 route Kilometers of Kishenpur-Dulhastitrans mission line at Kishtwar substation.

 ENICL, the first-of-its-kind Mega Independent Power Transmission Project to be awarded in India, was set up with an end to void power from the northeast and eastern countries to the northern region of India. It has been linked as one of the loftiest precedence lines by the Power System Operation Corporation Limited( POSOCO), as it provides critical connectivity for the transfer of power from the generating shops in the northeastern region.
