 Sterlite Power secures INR 2070 crores funding from PFC for VNLTL project | Sterlite Power Transmission Limited

For the VNLTL project, Sterlite Power receives INR 2070 crores in investment from PFC.
On October 20, 2020, in New Delhi: With the full INR 2070 crores of debt funding from one of India's largest lenders in the power sector, Power Finance Corporation Limited, Sterlite Power, a major participant in the world of power transmission, has completed the project's financial close (PFC Ltd.). Four months after the SPV acquires the project, the financial closure is completed.
In order to carry out one of the largest interstate transmission system projects, covering the Western Region Strengthening Scheme-XIX (WRSS-XIX) and North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme-IX, Sterlite Power bought VNLTL SPV in June 2020. (NERSS-IX).
