Sterlite Power secures INR 440crores funding from Tata Cleantech Capital for Nangalbibra - Bongaigaon project - Sterlite Power: Electric Power Transmission Company & Solutions Provider

 March 7, 2022, New Delhi: The Nangalbibra-Bongaigaon Transmission Limited (NBTL) project has reached financial close, according to Sterlite Power Transmission Limited ("Company" or "Sterlite Power"), a top developer and provider of solutions for power transmission infrastructure in the private sector. The entire INR 440 crore debt financing from Tata Cleantech Capital, the first private sector climate finance institution in the Green Banking Network, has been successfully obtained. Two months after the SPV acquired the project, this financial closure was reached.

 ENICL, the first-of-its-kind Mega Independent Power Transmission Project to be awarded in India, was set up with an end to void power from the northeast and eastern countries to the northern region of India.
